The Alert Works VA-100 is a unique Alarm Activated Voice Alert System with personal message recording. Studies have shown that only 6 percent of children (aged 6-15) will wake up reliably to a standard smoke alarm’s high pitched beeping signal, and smoke alarms sounding for up to 3 minutes failed to wake over 85 percent of the children. Hearing a recognized voice recorded by the user will awaken 79 percent of children within 30 seconds and 98 percent and 98 percent within 1 minute. Residential fire is a major cause of fire fatalities, with a large majority of fatal fires occurring at nighttime. Used in conjunction with your smoke alarm, the Voice Alert VA-100 transmitter employs patented technology to detect the standard smoke alarm signal and wirelessly trigger the Voice Alert Receiver.
